May I ask where you get your glass cut?

Just got a red ring of death xbox. I was thinking about doing this. You just stripped the inside of the xbox and are constructing a small glass tank inside?

I cut my own glass and yeah had an old red ringed xbox laying around and gutted it

Wicked! I'd love to see the finished product. My hubby has a red ringed XBox hanging around and I totally want to have a go at it

+1 on that one!

I just bought an XBOX with Kinect on Christmas Eve cuz it was $100 off and hooked it up the other night, and boy oh boy does it ever run HOT!

I'm considering to have a fan hooked up to it whenever it's on, or else I'll be building an XBOX Tank sooner than later!

Great idea for the XBOX Tank, I can't wait to see the finished product!

PS3's dont break down cause there just an over priced blu ray player.
Sorry but thats what mine has turned into.
Tho a ps3 tank would look bad ass.

Mine broke down 3 times (only play kids' dvd titles on mine these days) and it was still worth it (and better than a PS3). Microsoft (somehow) got something right when they built LIVE.

Live, don`t you have to be paaid on live to play most online games? That is why igot my ps3. I think ps3 has bettergraphics. I do have an xbox but it is pretty much just a media player now.

My X-box was refurbished and ran like a champ for 3 years. Suddenly a couple days ago it died... I hit pause on a vid game and came back 1.5hr later to find no power and wont turn on. Anyways... Looks good so far! Keep us in the loop!

I have had a dead xbox 360 laying around for about 6 years (when I bought my first ps3 which is still a champ)

maybe I should do this too! ;) jk I dont have the patience. How many gallons do you figure its going to be? 1-2 I would assume?

Its under 1 so I'm making a 10 gallon sump so i dont have too much about water evaporation and do more then a daily top up.

PS3s get the yellow light of death. They die as well, I think slims were even worse for this too. Earlier Xbox models were bad but that's since be resolved. I still much prefer Xbox Live so that's my primary console; I had enough crap treatment from Sony years ago and don't support them much anymore.

Any new pictures of the build?

I have both consoles, I can't justify paying the monthly fee for the Xbox Live even though the controllers are better. Just my two cents.
