for my 60 gallon tank i will be having 200 gallons per hour going threw the sumps is that enoughfor a good filtration or will i run into problems down the road

It all depends on what ya got in your sump. I like to have a turn over of about 5 to 8 times per hour. I don't know it that answers your question. Please forgive my math but at 60 gallons with a 200 gallon an hour return makes it roughly 3 to 3.5 times an hour turn over?
What kind of set up well you being running? Fish only, fish only with live rock, reef?

I like a lower turnover rate so that my skimmer has more time to skim out the water of its cr@p before it gets pumped back up into the display tank again. 3-3.5x is about normal for me.

Make sure you're taking into account any head loss and other slow down of water flow from piping/nozzles, etc. Personally my 65 gal has a return of ~700-900GPH and I like it, but it depends on what you've got in the tank and sump and what your goal is. I have my skimmer off the side in the sump in a quieter baffle and it does just fine.

no need to post since Anthony said it here for ya. the times of fast flowing sump are over with huge pumps to power them. With a slow flow sump you get more skimming and more time for the heater to work and less time for crap to make it to your display tank.

i am getting mixed messages but i think i will be fine with the 200 gph going threw the sump cuz the center compartment on my sump will be a small refugium which correct me if im wrong but they usually like lower flow rates?

What every one seems to be saying is that you'll be fine. The lower rate gives your skimmer and heater more time to work.

you can still have a return that is running at 900 GPH and a refugium that is flowing at 200 gph just tee off the return to go to the refugium and a slow rate while the rest will return to the display tank.

My hob overflow can only handle 200 gph it says on the package so that will have to be the most flow I can do unless I buy a second overflow box. And my refugium is built into my sump and before my return line.

Well my skimmer is 650 I think so I will prob have to run it a little on the wet side to get the most bang for my buck but we will see if I notice it's not working I will get a better overflow or a second one

Also my overflow boxx is an eshops pf nano it's rated for 200 but I have heard that it can handle a bit more then that if anyone has any experience with it I would love to here your input
