Simple question... how deep is the sand or substrate in your tank(s)?

Tried for about an inch. Now bare in front, some places 3 inches :)

1.5"-2" Crushed coral.

Yeah same with mine. He likes digging caves under the rocks and piling the substrate up around them. Anyway, about 1 to 1.5" of Carribsea crushed coral.

Always done 2-3" for snails, stars, gobys, jawfish.
1-2 Inches in my 120 gal
1-1 1/2 inches in my 25 which is actually a 20 gal :wink:
3 inches to none in my 77 gal

2" to 4" depending on the spots. 4" on the back and 2" in front.

Three inches in display, and 16 inches in RDSB.
