Just wondering where everyone buys their plumbing equipment? Is HD where its at? Or is there elsewhere with better pricing? Anything particular I should look for? Name brand? Quality?

Would HD have all the fittings to make a Durso:

1" threaded male adapter
1" x 1-1/4" slip reducer bushing
schedule 26 1-1/4" pvc pipe
1-1/4" T fitting
1-1/4" street-ell (street 90)
1-1/4" endcap

You would think that HD would carry everything you need to make a durso, but, I have found that their selection of plumbing is not always that great for such a large retail chain. I always find that the plumbing selection at Rona is much better than HD. It maybe different out your way though.

Oh! Just in case you are interested. Prince Rupert is about to get another reef keeper.

I like Terasen. They've always had what I was looking for.

Home Depot isn't that great for specialized parts... even for some "regular" parts.

My cousin lives up there.

He was down this week and picked up a tank and some equipment.

If you let me know his name, this is a small town, I'd like to meet him so we can share things/help each other with our reefs etc. What size tank did he get?

If you want to "meet" him, just hold up one of the local banks and then run. He is with the RCMP police dog service.

The tank he picked up was a 72 gallon.

There are good and bad cops in this town, half of them I know anyway. Please PM me his name and if he is one of the good guys I will give him a call.

I'll PM you his name and E mail address so you can see if you want to contact him.

I'm pretty sure he is not evil.

Steve

Been to 3 already, everyone doesn't have any in stock. Guess I'll have to keep trying them.

Three weeks back we bought some 3/4 inch at Coast Spas, Langley Bypass. They had 3 sizes in stock at that time.

Good luck in your search.
