Hi lower mainland Red Sea Max 130 -130D owners... just gauging interest for a group buy shipped to one address.

So are you a Red Sea Mac 130 or 130D owner with stock PC lighting and considering to do an LED upgrade. Well been sitting on the side lines looking for a LED solution and a retro upgrade to the sleek existing hood makes the best asthetic sense.

I contacted Martin at Modular LED and he can give us a group discount for 5 people as a group buy. If there's more buyers, maybe a bit more. His price is $249 each instead of the $275 price. If you want dimmers, it'll be $5 off the dimmer as well ( ie. $43). I do think a dimming solution is essential as you don't want to burn your corals with no acclimization.

If you want to vary the LEDs', ( eg Blues, or the brighter XP-Gs which is $1.00 more, ) let Martin know. The XP-G's are just a bit more but some may want it. I think you can also buy lenses but it may not be necessary since the LED's are so close to the waterline.

Also Martin is going to try getting some Ecoxotic products so if you wish to have better purples and blues in products like stunner strips, we can do it at the same order as well.

There is only GST since the company is in Alberta and shipping is free.
At $120 /yr for replacement PC's, I think the $300 or so spent will pay for itself in 2.5 yrs and you'll be able to have SPS's and save a bit on electricity.

Best regs

can you post the Panaroma Pro prices as these are actually really bright and can be a quick addition for actually growing corals in say nano tanks.

thanx
