Hello Iam wondering if a 2" drain can handle a barracuda return pump with no worries thanks

At 0' head pressure (4600GPH) most likely not. At 16' head pressure (2400GPH), then most likely yes.

They can be throttled back easily.

If it's a full siphon it will pull a lot more too.

I know my 1.5" can't be maxed out by my laguna 4200 pond pump. After head-loss I'm sure I'm getting more than 3000 gph into the display (I do have it throttled back however I ran it full bore while I was curing/flushing crap off my rock)

I have the Barricuda with about 7' of vertical head going through 1.5" Schd 80 and it flows 54 GPM. I do use the Barricuda to feed my two Jumbo reactors which results in slightyl less then 7' of head pressure.
I love my flow meters
