I'm using 520w of PC lighting. Having good results. tank is only 8 months old. The soft corals are doing great, but the Montipora could be better.

Im having not bad success. My green digitata and pink rimed cap are growing well, same with my blue tip stag. And I just bought a pink pocilipora this weekend so Ill see how that goes.

75g with 20g sump/refugium I have 4x65 50/50, 2x65 10k and 2x65 actinic. Don't like the actinic. I got better color out of NO's

I have on my tank is 4 VHO's and 2 NO actinic on the 75 gal.
I
like the pink color of the rock with the coraline. I might switch to a 400 w 20 K with 2 no actinic time will tell..

I run 90watts of NO lighting on my 27gl, 14" high tank.
Two Phillips T3 actinics and a Coralife 10,000k all 3 footers.
Over the last year I have been adding SPS and trading or selling my LPS.

So far 95% of my SPS corals are doing great!
My montipora's both cap's and digi's grow pretty fast, all my acropora frags are healthy and growing at a slow pace, the stag and milli frags are also doing well. All my SPS are place in super high flow so that could be why most of my acro's are encrusting more instead of branching.

Here's a growth shot of my first SPS coral, a purpletip bottlebrush acro.

Rich can you tell us how far under the lights your SPS are? I know you don't have them on the bottom of the tank

Yeah Steve your so right most of the acro's are only about 4" under the water surface and the lights are about 3" higher than the surface of the water, so in total 7" away from the lights
