Well I shut down my 75 about a year ago, downsized to a 33g, then downsized again to a 2.5g Nano. The GF recently moved in and we decided that we wanted to start another one but upstairs this time... Mr.Steve at Red Coral helped out with everything and we put together a nice little setup!

Picture time!

Getting the tank and stand home, also had a 48" light that we threw up there for fun

Got sick of the noise coming from the tank so time for a new sump to be plumbed across the house and into the laundry room! Picked up a 90G sump off a buddy along with electical panel and switches.

Buckets for water top-ups and water changes. I can do a 20g water change in about 8 minutes and barely lifting a finger!

I got excited for a minute when I saw your thread title.

I thought someone was making a unique "dinner table" reef IN a table. lol.

Should be "dining room" tank perhaps. lol.

Are you planning to build a canopy? I see you are blocking the lights. My wife made me build a surround for the light and it made a huge difference. And it looks good to boot!

Hmmm now thats a great idea! Sounds costly though, lol.

And yes I'm def building a canopy and new skirting on the tank. Once I figure out if I'm going led or staying with this light I'll start on the canopy.

Well instead of building the tank into the kitchen table, its much easier for me to change the title name:wink:

I just love the water change plumbing into the laundry tub. So insanely short and simple that's the way to roll! Nice work so far.

Well picked up about 30 free 2x4's today, along with the rest of the maple sheet i had in the basement (same stuff used on my stand), decided to whip up a quick canopy. I will be designing a new stand/canopy but not till next year when i find some time to cut/build/stain/lacquer something at work...

First off the boss and foreman were making sure eevrything went smoothly
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f115/uknowsikid111/utf-8BRWRtb250b24tMjAxMTExMjUtMDAxNzQuanBn.jpg

Zipped a couple 2x4's in half and mounted my moonlights onto the wood (Warden was watching my every move on this one)
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f115/uknowsikid111/utf-8BRWRtb250b24tMjAxMTExMzAtMDAxNzUuanBn.jpg

And the final product. My Styrofoam finally gone and still easy access to the whole tank.

Edit: Ill be touching up all the cutlines with a matching stain pen i have

Lol its just how I roll!

So a bunch of new things added, 11 head frogspawn, couple sps, sailfin tang. Need to figure out how to properly use my DSLR so I can snap some good pics.

Also started prodibio yesterday, so ill be updating the process on that.
