Any idea how to get these guys to grow faster - they are fed, moved to lesser light after doing worse in high light, ....

Pic works for me. Very nice. I don't have pink but my green ones do well in a high flow area with N O lighting! They tend to catch anything floating by; mysis, adult brine, formula one, and OSI flake.

I got those in two places in my tank, grow really well.. under 110w PC lighting.. pretty low flow. I do feed on occasion a similar concoction to Eric Bornemans coral food reciepe.

If anyone is interested in it, here it is

Nice Deb. I have some pink zoos (without the green center though). The ones closer to the MH light turned brighter pink.

You need to ditch the Euroreef and get a real skimmer
Or maybe going skimmerless would be better

Maybe you could try not giving away most of them to me  I placed them mid height in the tank. They receive fairly high flow at times and MH light. The color is good but growth is rather slow.

I have recently bought a couple of hundred dollars worth of zoanthids from Canadian Reef. I have noticed that the growth rate on some is much higher than others. As a matter of fact I had to go out and buy some rubble today so that I could give some of the zoos something to grow onto. Now it must be said that the ones you pictured are not in my collection  , so I can't really say anything about them.

Em, as far as I know these guys are slower growing ones. Mine have grown 3-4 more polyps since I got them but I was told that they grew pretty slowly in Troys tank.

Mine went from 3 to 10 polyps in about a month, but after moving them to my frag tank, they stopped growing. I just put them back in the main tank today, so maybe they'll grow again!!
