Where is a good place to get straight pin PC end caps? I got a Workhorse 7 off Ebay for $18 and I think its time I started on a canopy and add to my 240 watts if light :)

Also does anyone know if I could run 1 x 55 and 2x65 on the Workhorse 7? .

Thanks

Jim

That is only 185 watts. The work horse 7 balast is good for 220 watts. I have 4 55watt CF's (maxxed out at 220 watts)on one workhorse 7 balastt and they are working fine. For sockets (straight pin type the cheapest place is Brite-lite( http://www.brite-lite.com/CdnShop/Publish/vindex.htm)in Calgary I think $3 a piece not sure if they are open on Saturday if they are I bet only in the morning. Now the sockets I have are a plastic of some kind not realy sealed but I haven't had problems yet with them and I have been running them for over 1 year.

Yes I know 1 x 55 and 2x65 is only 185 watts. I am tyring to decide what I want to do.. right now I have 2x55 and 2 x65 watt bulbs here that I am not using but that equals 240 watts and is 20 watts over the WH7 :)

so I figured I could use of of the 55watt bulbs.
