We will be moving this summer and we will be selling this house ( Douglasdale ) ... If the price is right I would be willing to sell the tank and house in one deal as opposed to moving it ( doable but a PITA ) ... figured I would offer it out to you guys/gals first before we list. This system will NOT be parted out as I will take it with me if we dont sell it with the house ...

Tank includes : 300G inwall / 70G Sump / Beckett Skimmer / 60G Kalk auto top-off / 450 Lbs Live Rock / 4 X 400W MH / 4 X 96W VHO / 1 X LG 4MDQX-SC / 3 X MAG18 / 4 Eductors / Corals / Fish

PM me only if you are seriously interested.

Cheers

 You know, in some 5 or 6 years of serious reef surfing, I think this has got to be the first time I've seen something like this. ("FS: reef tank, comes with house")

Man .... too bad my new house is kinda already mostly done. Otherwise I'd have been pretty tempted!

Good luck!!

Steve,

Are you moving in Calgary or to someplace else?

Tony ... I figured that if there was someone interested in a LARGE reeftank it would be on this board ... it would take some strategizing in order to move it ( ie. donor tanks to hold coral/fish till I get setup again ) ... if I sell it all in one shot and start from scratch might be easier than trying to move it

I dont know if anyone is interested till I ask right ?

Jim ... I am staying in Calgary just building a 4 bedroom this time ( I have 3 girls and 2 of them have bunkbeds in one room  )

Cheers

No garage / 1100 sq ft / 1 1/2 baths / lot in Martindale maybe ? ... actually you can start at 139K in Pineridge ... as I said ... depending on area.

actualy out of 300 houses in the 3 bedroom 1 or more bath 200 of them were under 220.

It is a nice area, wrapped down along the river there. I would think the average price would be higher than most neighbourhoods in Calgary.

How are you planning to disassemble the tank, should a buyer for it show up? Is it a more or less "permanent" installation, or did you design it so it could be removed without too much fuss?

Hey Alan ... If I was to remove it from the wall I would just take it with me ... it would not be " easy " to remove but doable.

I only posted it on here just in case someone wanted a LARGE reeftank AND were looking for a house as well ... this way they get it installed and dont have to come up with the dollars " out of pocket and after tax "

Steve didn't you just add a second 300 gal? Where is that one going?

Hey Quinn ... right now it is in the garage ... I am going to take it apart over the next couple months and clean it up and then reassemble it with all new silicone ( also remove some stone siliconed to back/sides from previous owner )

If the current tank is sold with the house then I wlll take this other 300G with me to the new house as a temporary reef till I build my dream tank

Once the new tank is built I will either sell it or convert it to a FOWLR ... maybe do a predator type tank
