Anyone going to Whistler for this fun event?? :)

will you lift my logs for me? They look really really heavy! Plus those walls look really tall.. I may need a boost.
Do you know if maybe I could just run the entire course and go around the obstacles? That would certainly improve ones time.

Yes, you can go around obstacles if you like :) But it's not a timed event, so no rush!

Well, the criteria "suggests" that you be able to do 25 pushups, and 6 chinups. And run a fair bit  Easy Peasy!

I think not. if you think 25 push ups is hard, then you must be some one who runs alot.. and tends to now worry about upper body strenght.
we had to do fitness tests in the millitary every year and 25 was the pass mark for me. if you did over you got bonus points towards your exemption, but I could never get the exemption as I couldnt get to that level in the run....
on a side note I was going to stop in and see you last sunday while I was in vic, but ended up waiting for the 7pm ferry (was there intime for the 5pm but a 2 sailing wait) and then I had to go load a wood stove in the back of the truck. and because work called I had to take the 7am ferry home on monday.

No, I don't think they're tough at all, but we had a push up challenge at work last month and most male participants couldn't do 15 :) Only 2 of my younger co-workers could do over 30!
