So just set up a second MP40 in my tank. put them on anti sync and on pulse mode.

If i wasnt so lazy id show u a wave. :mrgreen: I got a 180 with 40 mp 40s i can get a good few inch splash going if i tune it in right. Never the less pretty sweet

Yeah and i still dont think its enough flow :mrgreen:. My small fish are strong swimmers.

If you turn all 40 at the same time, does it blow out the side panel of your aquarium?:lol::twised:

Well i have 2 on each side so i imagine it would hold the tank together. I left the masking tape on the tank for structural support.

So how far down from the top of your water are you guys placing your pumps? I see alot of complaints from people about them blowing around the sand and creating a sand storm. I run sugar sand and no such problem at all. I get a pretty nice wave in NTM with 2 MP40s in sync mode.

Theyre exactly half way between top of water and sand in a 2 food high tank

I run the Florida crushed coral, its a large gravel mine are about 6 inches from the top due to coral placement/rock work
