i was just wondering if there were any easier to take care of tangs that would be able to go in a 30 gallon reef tank?

sorry "frayed knot" :) even the small tangs will need bigger than a 30g tank.

Nope. Koles and their cousins should have a bigger tank than 30g. Sorry. Not an officer of the Tang police, but 30g is too small to realistically consider keeping an active fish like a tang. A dwarf-dwarf angel (Cherub or Flameback) would work for a 30g though.

its possible, they are hit or miss some are fine some are little terrors.no angels are 100% reefsafe . i second the cherub angel great little fish, finiky for getting to eat sometimes but once established are fairly hardy.....but always a possibility of eating corals/clams etc. cheers:)

Anthony, I think you forgot your giant monster flameback angel  She is my most favorite angelfish in my tank right now.
