What salt mixes at 400+ ppm? I heard freshly mixed Oceanic salt has high calcium but I cannot find any locally or on the mainland. Are there any other brands that are 400+ ppm?
Thanks in advance

reef crystals is 480+ it's very high. When doing large water changes it can cause a swing unless you somehow account for it. I dose less Ca than Alk to account for my weekly waterchanges. Lately I've been too busy to do all of these so my Ca dipped a few times. Curious why you're after such a salt?

TOTM on Reefcentral uses a combination 2 economical salts - Oceanic (high in Ca and Mg) and Instant Ocean (high Alk) to offset the short comings of both salts. Thought it was good idea rather than supplementing lots Ca to boost Instant Ocean.

Thanks Brett.

Anyone know the actual levels of the basic (cheapest) Seachem salt?

why do you want over 400 anyways?

I found my best growth and color using IO and maintaining at about 380 to 390ppm Ca and I ran my alk higher than normal.
