Hello,
My tank had bad green algae. All the stuffs died. I start from fresh but still use the existing rock and sand bed. Now algae starts growing back again. I don't know what to do. Is there any medication that helps killing algae? I lost huge amount of money that I invested because of that stupid green algae. I don't want to be a loser the second time. I am desperate needing help.
Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, I did.
Salinity: 1.026
Calcium: 460
Alkalinity: 1000kh
Nitrate: 5
Nitrite: 1
Amonia: 0

Do I need to turn off the light for now or reduce the amount of light? Thanks.

i dont think lights gonna fix the problem if theres no corals and fish kill em for sure, but its all happening for a reason or in this case prob a few.what exactly died before, fish and corals you mean??? how long have you had the set up running??

It killed fishes, corals, and inverts. Now I am having two clown fishes, zoa, hammer coral, green star polyps, hermit crabs, turbo snail in my tank. I had the set up running for two months.

Check your phosphates. How old is your tank?
