That's a great deal for someone wanting lots of glass anemones. There appear to be lots as the add says.

What a steal! I just showed the pic to my gf... that's why you don't leave aiptasia unchecked.

It is possible that the owner really likes aiptasia and thought that they were quite novel, and thus allowed them to thrive. Kinda like how some people keep Xenia :noidea:

Newbies always think that they are supposed to be in there. I had one guy who was quite proud of it until I told him what they were - bad bad bad.

way back when marine aquariums started people couldnt keep real corals and if a reefkeeper could keep aiptasia they were doing really well, aiptasia were a desired addition in your tank. not so now adays

Well for the majority of tanks, they're kind of neat looking. I was talking to someone the other day about a dedicated tank for majanos. While they're a holy hell to deal with in a reef tank, just on their own, they're kind of neat looking and sometimes you get green fringes and different colors. Its only when they start stinging other stuff that they can become a problem or when you're told that they're bad or they start to take over that you start to think maybe they shouldn't be in there
