"Transforms an ordinary aquarium into an extraordinary aquarium!?"

How?
I don't know , not my statement. This question should be directed to a Marineland PR department.

My guess would be that they define "ordinary" as an aquarium without canopy, without filtration, without light and without any flow control.
And "extraordinary" would be an aquarium that would have all these things incorporated in to one unit, look good, be functional, easy to maintain and won't place objects in the display tank other then intake tube.

But is it good enough to be called extraordinary? I don't know, some people are hard to please, myself included.

Completely uncalled for. Offers should be made by PM, and there's no need to cut down product that someone is trying to sell in thier own post.

Extremely rude.

really? rude?? im making a offer on something that is worth what i said, so therefore i find it rude for you trying to make a 100.00 off something that is not worth that much!!!! i didnt undercut nothing.. get a grip and read properly.. as you can see from previous post from people, they are also skeptical about how you are trying to sell
stuff

so if you cant handle the truth then head out.

If you can't manage "polite", please go to a different board. Your offer was rude and uncalled for, and that isn't acceptable here.

It is rude.

If you don't end up buying the light, others will see what you posted and therefore be less likely to pay close to what he's asking, not based on what the product is actually worth, but a perceived value based on what you said. The canopy is $150 brand new. It might not be worth $100 to you, but he's certainly not trying to rip anyone off.

If you go to a used car lot and would like to buy a car for less than what they are asking you have a private conversation with the salesman. Try standing in the middle of the sales floor and cut down the car loud enough so all the other customers can hear and see how long you are welcome.

All I'm saying is make the offer and comments in private. It's common courtesy on any forum.

fwiw, I have the same canopy and it works great for freshwater.

edit:sorry didn't see your reply aquattro.

Not even close but you are welcome to try again. If it woth nothing how come you offering $15 more then nothing?
Thx.

Wow, everyone, thanx for all the kind words & bumps to the top ! LOL.

I don't mind low ball offers I just say "no" to it, that's it not a big deal.
I don't know if it "comes with the tank" why would you think that? because there is a tank on the picture?
here is the link and the description from the J&L site. I don't see that it says anywhere that tank is included.

I used to have that setup on one of my freshwater tanks, I actually quite liked it. It basically converts a bare tank into a tank with every thing built in
