new 10g tank and 29g with overflow

Hey all! New to the site, and newish to the hobby. Just so everyone knows, this is not my first saltwater tank, but it has been a few years, so input would be appreaciated.

My plan is to use the 10g as a sort of QT for stocking the main tank. I'm starting to think about a clean up crew. 10 snails and 10 hermit crabs to start. is this too many for a 29 g?

so, i ended up with 2 nasarius snails that are burried and i never see, 2 of some other snails that dont move too much, ( one keeps falling down), and 8 tiny little hermit crabs. I'll try and get some pics to post, but im sure its nothing any of you havnt seen before. I'm still excited!
