Is it possible to keep multiple species of anthias. I have 2 lyretail and my wife bought me a bartlett. Its in qt now but am not sure if they will live in community together.
I would say tank size will be the determining factor. I had bartlets and fathead in a 55. Dez has a few types in a 150. Some people told me no, but it seems like it works out.

Great read. Thanks for that info. It suprising how little info one gets from a store who's looking to make a buck. I do understand the feed requirements and am trying to match. My lyretails eagerly take mysis and fish eggs. I just hope they can live together. Can't see myself gettin anthias anymore after reading that article. Last thing I want to do is support harvesting fish that have high mortality rates

I have 3 Bartletts (2M 1F), 3 Lyre Tails (All M) and 1 Squareback (M) in a 250 mixed reef. They do have there little spats but with enough room everyone is happy at the end of the day.
