Found this little guy under i rock i flipped over,got it held up in my sump.

There is no such thing as a good crab! come on now :) i like the little guy.I have a couple of large sally lightfoots..zero problems.And a few acro crabs,i know there harmless.Hate to banish him to the sump if he's harmless.I know some people dont trust any crabs.Thanks for the replies people.

I wouldn't remove a crab unless I caught it red-clawed eating a fish. And since my fish are pretty big, I leave crabs in the tank. Haven't regretted it in 10 years.

Looks like a crab from the mirthrax sp? Like an emerald crab just not green. I got 3 or 4 of those exact ones in my tank right now , they are shy and come out a night to graze . They eat bubble and hair algae in my tank so i dont see how there bad.
