strange looking worm

Noticed a large worm like creature in a piece of live rock.Was tan in color,about 8 inches long,look like a tan colored earth worm(no legs)It seems to burrow into the rock,any idea what it could be?(I definatly goota buy a dig camera)

I had one in my 90 that was probably a foot long when fully extended, I only every saw it clean ditrius etc, if it encountered a fish etc it would pull back quickly. Mine was completely nocturnal.

like doug siad they are nocturnal, well for the most part. As well the eat ditrius. they are harmless and are fine to have... although a little ugly they are all good.
