View Full Version : Dead corals in sump?
Just wondering what most people do with your dead coral skeletons?
I usually dump them in my sump, along with the other live rock. I figure things such as acro skeletons are porous, so bacteria can grow inside the skeleton like it does in live rock.
Thoughts? Thanks.

wife took about 1/3 from the great die off and after soaking in bleach then leaving out on the deck for a while, uses them as a center piece. Know she didn't do it to mock me but still feel bad everytime I look at them.

That's a great decorative idea. It looks really good.
