I think that's what I've got here, what do you think?

I cant find a pic of Herpetoglossa so if anyone has a pic in a book and can look it up I'd be very grateful.

all the white areas are mouths.. (IE to many for me to count on my fingers and toes)

Doug, My book of corals states " subgenus of fungia which would then also include the questionable heretoglossa herein known as Fungia Simplex". Hope this helps, the book is by Eric Borneman

Marty, I looked at all the fungia's and found most of them only had one mouth, it's a difficult thing to ID. I've seen the Halomitra as well as fungia's that look like the tongue. This has numerous mouths and it's growing well.

quoting from my book "all Fungia have one central mouth" But the Genus Halomitra have secondary mouths surrounding a central mouth. Common species H. clavator and H. pileus. If you would like more info just let me know.

I found the H. clavator and pileus a while ago, that's where I got the H. meierae, just wanted to try to get a Definate, no question about it ID.
