Derasa Clam spawning ?

mine keeps squirting these white stringy fluids....
can anybody confirm what exactly it is doing ?

Kind of like this? Sounds like spawning to me. Beware though, clams often spawn when stressed and close to dying as a last ditch effort to save their genetics. And the gametes(?) can really pollute a small system. But sometimes they just do it for fun too like the rest of us.

yup seems to be doing the same thing
i dont notice any stress yesterday so lets hope is doing it for fun
