Probably a long shot but...

Can somebody point me in the direction of where I can find info on stat pay for contract workers.

Google doesn't turn up anything specific to contract hires working in BC.

I Have oil and gas construction projects in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. I hire contract Welders and Pipefitters, typically they are not eligable for stat pay unless there is a contract stipulating otherwise. If you have already started work and this condition is not clarified, you may be SOL. Labour standards are vague when it comes to contract workers, it tends to focus on the "employee" which you aren't.
