Ok, first of all, I know this question was ask a few time but I have read a lot of discussion on this and I'm still unable to make my mind. So considering the following factor, what would you recommend.

My tank is 24'' cube (mostly SPS) and it is setup in a corner, so there is two panels against a wall. The overflow box is centred and on the back panel.

The option I considered was having 2 MP-10 on each side of the overflow (back panel) or 1 MP-40 on the side panel. I'm still unable to decide between those option because I'm scared 2 MP-10 will be more noisy than a sole MP-40. Again, on the other end, I'm not sure if 1 MP-40 will not leave dead spot and if I will miss much on not being able to use the Ecosmart mode as with 2 MP-10.

Any input would be great.
Tks

I have a 24" cube and I was running 2 MP40's in it....it worked well but I was running them at a very low setting...

I think two MP10's would work much better than one MP40...

Thanks, If Money was no Object, I would go right away for two MP40 ... Maybe I could start with one MP40 and buy another one in a year.... Unless everyone think 2 X MP10 is definitely enough for good SPS maintenance in this size aquarium... (2 MP-10 in a 60 will give me 52X which is normally enough)...

God , not easy... Anyone with 2 MP10 on similar size aquarium? How do you like the flow?

Right now I am running it with one MP10 and one Tunze PH...I was going to run 2 MP10's but am thinking about shuting it down and and replacing it with a new custom built 24"cube with built in pockets for two MP10's.

The two MP40's in the 24 were just too much IMHO...

I have a 36" cube and the pockets with 2 MP40's (http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=72684 (http://Build Thread)and I still don't need to run them anywhere near full throttle (running at max 70% w/APEX)...

Finally, After more reading this week-end, I came up with this solution. I will start with 1 MP-40, and add a MP10 later on for any dead spot and more random flow.

I came to this decision because I was not sure about having enough flow with 2 MP-10. In all my reading, only people with mixed reef said it was enough for this size tank, but did'nt see anyone with SPS only and with a similar setup. So I decide to go a little bit bigger cause I think when in doubt, better to go bigger than smaller .
