Hey all,

I bought a nice, big Torch coral yesterday, as well as a pair of ocellaris clowns. I was wondering if the clowns will ever host the torch coral. If anyone has experience please share. Any way to encourage this behavior?

I saw some youtube videos of clowns hosting torch coral so I know its possible. But they had a different tank size. I have a 10G nano tank.

Thanks,

It's a pretty common occurrence. You can tape a photo of a clownfish in an anemone to the side of the tank near the Torch coral. This will often encourage clowns to admire an anemone or a coral.

Interesting, I will try that tomorrow. Thanks.

Sounds ridiculous, but what is ridiculous is that it works at least half the time or better.
