Does anybody have a velvet neon damsel in their tanks with other fish. Ive heard they are very aggressive and don't want to disturb the peace in my main tank.

I think I have one, the LFS had it labelled neon damsel and it's bluish purple. She/he is coming out in 3 weeks when we tear the tank apart to move!
she/he also is constantly fanning the sand with it's tail and dumping it all over my corals.
It has a small wrasse trapped in a corner and will not let it out. I have to put my long tweezers in the tank at feeding time to keep her from chasing the little wrasse away from the food.
Worst 5.99 I ever spent.

If that is the fish you are referring to,i wouldn't take any chances very territorial in small or a large tank even with lots hiding spaces its the devil:biggrin:.And in time when it grown the colors will fade out.

all damsels become territorial and aggressive.
I have an Allens damsel, was told it was fairly mild tempered and it is.
However it likes to dig and washed sand everywhere and dug tunnels.
It only chased other fish the odd occation though.
