challices, acans, some brains, most lps to be hounest as long as you feed them.

im thinking of putting them under my rockwork bridges so its very low light
I've had a blue sponge for over a year and a half and it is spreading like crazy. It sits underneath an overhang in my aquarium. Beautiful colour as well.

Yes DENDROS need minimal light... but require heavy feedings. Several times a week or they will perish.
My first salt tank was only 30W T8 and I had all sorts of softies and LPS growing well. Zoas included.

HA HA! I have never tried Dendros but know folks who failed feeding time.
Any pics of yours Newb? I love Dendros. Colors are awesome!

Meteor Shower Cyphastrea. I put mine under an overhang and it's growing around the rock out into the light. Awesome colours. I also second the chalices. Low light = Awesome colours... kinda the total opposite of everything in my tank.

I agree with every one else.. the following corals are good for lower light or a shaded light area.
- Chalice
- Acans (lords always best because you can cram pack em in there)
- Dendros
- Sun corals (but require a lot of target feeding)
- Duncans
- Candycanes (mine like the overhang area)
- Xenia likes more moderate low, at least in my tank.
- Toadstool leather more moderate lighting.
- Rics/Yumas are more low-moderate light.
- Feather dusters: not corals, but they add some nice personality and movement to a reef tank.
