Hey everyone, I've been struggling with this nuiscance growth in my system and been following the usual guidelines for algae control; water changes, heavy skimming, being carefull not to over-feed, RO/Di makeup water etc. However, to make things more difficult I can't even identify this stuff to figure out how to deal with it!

Please check it out and let me know if you've seen it before. Thanks in advance!

Very interesting, I just spent the last half hour reading about posts regarding STOPPING water changes.... Which is just great because in the course of 3 weeks I just did a 20% and 15% water changes to combat this!!!! Also my SG is a little high at 1.027 so I will work to bring that down.

New plan of action; reduce salinity, stop water changes for atleast a month, feed heavily in an attempt to raise nitrates a bit (currently reading 0).
