try brushing the pvc with more cement at the leak when it's dry and not running.hopefully the pvc will melt at your pin hole and seal it,or the glue will clog the hole.if not then silicone-but keep it dry till it cures

If it is a very small leak, it will stop in time from salt creep.

Something else to try if you need more substance is to shave some PVC from some unwanted pipe (I use a bodyman's rasp) then mix in some solvent to make a sludge to put on the seam.

You have to work FAST though !

PVC is so cheap I would just buy new PVC and re-do the plumbing. There is too much to lose to worry about saving a few dollars.

Ya the PVC is but the ball gate and spring valve isn't so I would have to reorder them from Australia all for a tiny drip an hour from one elbow

+1, cut out the elbow and use a couple of couplings/unions. Is it accessible? You could always cut and chip out the fitting.

Yes and no it's a 45 in the middle of other 45s to make it a smoother curve I could do it but it's going to be such a b*^%# I'm going to add some glue and see if not it's gotta come out
