I went to a computer store and got an older power supply, then got some muffin fans, 4 inch fans for $6 each.. I've put 3 into my canopy for my 26 gallon bow and they work really well. They run on 12vdc, an adaptor wouldn't work as they draw about .18A each, most of the adapters I've found were rated at 300mA so you'd only be able to run 2 at the maximum off the adapter. I'll post pics when I've got them but, just thought I'd let you all in on the idea.

I run the same on my 30gal cube, if you go to Ikea you can pick up a lamp that runs on 12v and it's good for 20watts. Similar to this but cheaper, i think $6. Just use the base power supply, the lamp arms are the power wires. http://www.ikea.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10101&storeId=3&productId=19151&langId=-15&parentCats=10111*10267
