A little is ok, a lot can be bad. Are you running a sump or not?

my skimmers in my sump, its not enough to see if your sitting down on the couch but you can see it if you are next to the tank just a fine mist

Are you sure your from the skimmer. I have seen bubbles on a leak on the return plumbing drawing in air or too fast of flow through the sump.

theres no baffles and i dont really want to tear my sump apart... it is the skimmer there is no micro bubbles when the skimmer is off

Are you able to put a piece of foam on the outlet of your skimmer?

Check the air intake hose. I had some bubbles from my skimmer and my intake was partially plugged. Cleaned it up and everything was fine.

That is what most manufactures do to cure there problems. Cheap and easy fix. Just make sure to clean the foam as part of regular maintience.
