Kind of cool/bizarre!

Is it supposed to do that, or do we quote Gill from Finding Nemo: "Fish aren't meant to be kept in boxes, Sharkbait. It does things to them."

Yeah I dunno, I think this is what they do. Somewhere I read that with some of the smaller wrasses you need to keep an open sandy area available for them to dive into the sand. This isn't the first time I've seen him in the sand. A few weeks ago he was half buried with the head half of his body pointing straight up. Without the lights on I couldn't figure out what the heck it was until I turned on my moonlight and figured it out. I wish I had gotten a picture of that too.

Funny,

I have a few fish that bury themselves in the sand just like that! the only problem is that they're dead when they do it!

C'mon now Christy, isn't that what happened here?

alot of wrasses burry themselves in the sand when scared or sleeping, its good to kieep a deep area of sugar sand with wrasses, its easier on their skin
