So, I've rarely put pictures of my tank up because, well... I always see everyone else's tank and I kinda look at mine forlornly. That being said, I love my tank and in the pictures below you might realize I REALLY like corals. I still have a few nooks and crannies I can fill with coral but it's pretty full:razz:

I'll get some better pics up in time so please forgive the iPhone pics. Here are some of my favourites.

I really like the conch one too. I have 10 conchs and have had them for about a year and a half. Love the variety of corals you have in there.

I like the sense of depth you get with the big softie up front.

Hey, hey, hey... some of us have gotta work around here

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feed back. There is definitely a large assortment of corals in there. I've got a ric garden, milli forest, rolling fields of montis... it's a bonanza!

The tank is a 40g cube-ish (24"x24"x16") which until recently was running a Coralife 150W MH running a Phoenix 14K. Just recently switched to a Coralife 250W MH with a Pheonix 14K. I haven't had much time or money (mostly because it goes to corals) to finalize my sump... but it's coming very soon.

Skimmer: CPR BakPak 2 with mods
Filter: Aquaclear HOB

It's really a very basic system. My engineering genes, though they want to nerd out and pimp the tank, tell me that simplicity means I have less to go wrong. So far it works pretty well as long as I am on top of the husbandry.

I will take more pics in the light but here is a parting night time shot (wow, doesn't look nearly as nice as it does on my iPhone).

Is that a catspaw in the last picture (the night time shot)? Would love to see a daytime shot of that :) (please and thank you)

I've never been totally sure of that one. I believe it's actually a pocillipora and and not a stylophora (cat's paw) as the lobes are fairly tightly spaced. It has bright pink flesh with green polyps. It's is by far the unsung hero of my tank. One of my first, I got it as a mere nubbin almost a year ago (it was actually a hitchhiker on another SPS frag) and has grown like mad, in relative obscurity, into a 4" wide colony. It get's out shone by some of the really epic colonies in there but it's probably my favourite.

I'll try to get some day time pics up when I'm at home later.

Thanks for the daytime shots! Agree, looks poci-ish to me too. Nice clubfoot shape to it, it must like the flow it gets.

I just use Randy's two-part, recipe #1. I dose alk every 1 to 2 days and I top of calc every three or so. I don't have dosing pumps so I do this all by hand. One day I will build something more advanced but I do secretly enjoy getting more hands on. Other than that I dose iodine once a week and change the water (12 to 20%, depending on feeding) weekly.
