Are you tired of watching the fish pellets dispensed from your automatic feeder floating on the water's surface and into your overflow? I was and today I said "It Shall Not Happen AGAIN"
So I made this little contraption.... very similar to the ones I've seen on RC

I knew I was hanging onto my scrap acrylic for a good reason and that the reason just hadn't found me yet ... thank you for helping that idea find its way ..
Nice work btw!

That's a beaut. I made one a while back for my Eheim dual feeder. Similar idea but mine hangs on the side - keeps it away from the lights. Took a few prototypes until I finally arrived at this point. Added the little ramp affair for more tilt. Found the screw type feeding mechanism doesn't dispense larger flakes that well. Also gets a little extra clearance from the T5HO.

Hey there Chin, I just had a closer look at your build and am wondering where you scored the nylon bolts with the nice knurled heads? All I can find locally is nylon screws/bolts with standard heads and I have to drive to the Kelowna HD to get them.

i had to special order them from a nuts/bolt fastener place. i bought them years ago for a DIY skimmer project. these were the leftovers.
