Lol this makes sense to me...

this... does not.

sorry I don't mean to crap your thread but if you mean small chunks I understand, and sugguest an alternative is to take a hammer to chunks of larger live rock that don't suit your needs.

but the way you describe it, it sound like an artifical "nano" brand of live rock, which I've never heard of.

This Live rock weighs between 2 - 5lbs each so they are small. they just have more colour than a lot of others.

It still doesn't make sense..Are you talking of coloured rocks ? Has any fish store told you of this "special" rock ? So far, all rocks that are in the hobby are grey and drab looking and over time they get covered with algae and corals which give them the color.

You can have live rock in a nano aquarium, but haven't heard of nano live rocks before.

You're probably looking for Bali Rock.

There is alot of terminology that gets thrown around in this hobby and it can make for a steep learning curve for those fresh to the scene.

The only real difference you should be looking for in live rock is how porous it is.

Color may be an issue as well, but i will not take long for even the greyest rocks to color up once set in a well lit tank.

U can go buy a product called purple ip. Make purple coraline grow like mad. Or I find Kalk topup works well too.
