zooxanthellae are brown so this may be normal. What lighting do you have?

I bought one that was browned out and slowly moved it up the tank to higher light with more flow and it is coloring up nice, how is the polyp extension? Usually a good indication of how happy it is, how long have you had it? If it has good extension but is reasonably new then give it some time to color up.

great polyp extension. enough to cover everything underneath it(the pretty one). the picture I posted is about 2 months old when I first got it. and polyps are barely out yet.

I have now move it to highest possible point in the tank and given it the most possible flow as well..

polyps are still fully extented and brown.LOL
