My daughter is 11(you can see pink walls in her room.) and asked me if she can try saltwater. I know , at 11 is not looking promising(for her future husband's pocket) if she gets stack on a hobby.
Anyways this is what we came up with.
15 gal cube running on XP1 canister filter with Chemi-Pure Elite, LR rubble and tons of sponges. No skimmer, just weekly water changes. 20" Nova extreme pro(6T5HO).
Livestock she chose : 2 clowns(a must), azure damsel and Randall's goby with tiger shrimp(pair was made in 24 hours)

I like the aquascape and it looks so much cleaner than my 95 gallon...

Wish I could do a weekly 15% on my display...lol

Thanks everyone for nice comments. I really enjoy watching it up close and personal. Goby and a shrimp are making a tunnel all the way around and under the rock work. I think there plan is to have a horseshoe shape subway covering most of the tankfloor. Rockwork is holding on for now.

It's 16X16 AND 14H.

Bow Valley Aquariums made it for $30. It's my 11 year old daughter's tank, so I didn't want anything fancy.

Thanks! Clowns, I guess, are false percs. Big al's has a tank full of them.
In a store all of them looking very healthy. It's a 4 big tanks upfront where they keep mostly clowns. If you facing them I got mine from the top right.

As I was suspected, Tiger shrimp took them all, as you can see some of them in his burrow. I wish I would cut him hauling the shells one by one.
