Oct 09: Canucks 4-1
Nov 29: Tie 4-4
Dec 04: Flames 4-1

Canucks 44pts. 1st in NW Division.
Flames 41pts. 2nd in NW Division.

Right now the series is an exact push. Looks like there's going to be a serious battle on Boxing Day!

I'm predicting a 2-2 tie

Colorado who?

Cloutier is playing well right now so I say 3-1 canucks. they are due to get going. If not I'm thinking there will be a trade soon.
GO CANUCKS GO

True...but then u gotta consider that Calgary is 8-1-1 over their last 10 games and will be riding HUGE momentum going into the game. No team in the league is as hot as the Flames except for the Leafs...but who really cares about Toronto

Yes, but the canucks record isn't that bad either. And who is #1 in division???????? After being spamked last game, canucks want revenge. At lease I hope so

Actually an hour behind  , remember the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, thus it sets sooner here. ,
But whether we win by ten goals, or one goal. WE WILL WIN. , and now back to the eggnog.

I guess it is all in the way you look at it.

Canucks 6 - Flames 2

We'll see what we will see, but I think the other way around would be my preference. :silly: , :2gunfire:

Well I saw the score, and noticed the Flameouts did just that. It appears the canuckleheads were that much better. However, it ain't over until the fat lady sings.. The season is not yet over.

Good win...but at the cost of one of our best defencemen

Didn't catch the game, was it good? Score kind of sucked, but hey...
it was in our building after all...

two defencemen collided knee-to-knee??

game was good. I thought the flames were coming back but cloutier was a wall throughout the second.

the knee to knee didnt look like an accidental collision to me, but I dont know why anyone would do that on purpose.

It definitely was not an accident. On the replay, it's clear that it was intentional. Gauthier had the option of lifting either leg on impact. He chose to plant the "hitting" leg, lifted his off leg and leaned into it, so basically all of his weight went into that hit. Thus getting tossed out on the game misconduct.

There's talk of possible suspensions and Salo remains in Calgary while the rest of the team is back to play Edmonton tonight.

Update...Gauthier has been handed a 2 game suspension. Now both teams have lost players

Although I hate Edmonton even more than Vancouver, they are the last Alberta team with a chance to kick Vancouver's a** this time around.
