I recently upgraded from a 36 to a 48" tank and im still currently using my 36" lights. I purchased them from aquagiant and the moonlights are very bright. I have a couple buddies with name brand lights and there moonlights dont even compare to mine.

Im in the market for a 48 right now and wanna make sure my moon leds will be as bright as the last (reminds me of a blacklight at night when they are on).

Also there were only 2 leds on my fixture, and that covered the whole tank, other lights ive seen have 4-8 leds and they are dull. Strip led moon lighting we just set up on a buddies tank showed lines from each individual led shining down, which i was not impressed with.

Sooo just wondering what everyone is using for moonlights...

Ice cap led strips nothing compares. They are a little pricy tho, once you see the youll want them. If you want to see them pm me and you can stop in and see if you like them.

Do any of our fine sponsors carry them? Or link to where they can be bought?

What do these things roughly cost? And are they a strip of leds or a single led?
