hello all. Im new to canreef.I have not had a saltwater aquarium for 5 years and i cant take it anymore.I joined the site to get some information on a acrylic tank i wish to build.I plan on using one sheet 0f 4x8 1/2 inch cell cast from sabic.The tank will be fairly small and simple compaired to some of the tanks ive seen on here.The overall measure ments will be approx 40x20x20.About 70 gals.Will 1/2 be strong enough for me to drill a overflow and a coupkle of returns.ive read that i can go 24" tall with half inch.im trying to build this tank stronger than most as it will be in the family room and i have 3 small children.also Im trying to avoind any bracing or rim.any advice,links to other threads or opinions on past experiences would be greatly appreciated.Thanks richard.

No experience with acrylic tanks so can't help you there but there are a few Canreefers who probably can chime in there.

Believe there are a handful of Kamloopers on the board as well.
