I have two 48" New Gen bulbs with about 3 - 4 weeks use just sitting in the package, just as well to get rid of them. $20 each. In Medicine Hat, pickup only.

Just curious... I am using 2 in my 6 bulb Tek....

Is there a reason you stopped using them?

My primary lighting is Phoenix halides, I only use T5's to supplement. I tried the New Gen's to get more PAR and get some growth out of them (just an experimental thing). I didn't like the colour so I pulled them for Superblues. Don't get me wrong, I love them. On my other tank I'm running Superblue/New Gen/Coral Light/Fiji Purple and when combined they work very well, just not as a stand alone bulb. My other tank uses 39w bulbs so I have no use for them.

Thanks. Glad to hear it was not something more negative.
