Canreef 10 Year Anniversary

Hello,

Today is our 10 year anniversary online, at least as per the date when the site was registered. This is an important date for Canreef.

None of what we have right now would have been possible without the people behind this. This means all the members, staff team, and vendors who have contributed to Canreef.

2010 have been a big year for us behind the scenes as we have gone through some major infrastructure changes in anticipation to the growth in the years ahead. While 99% went smooth as planned, there have been and still are some minor issues here and there. There have also been delays in rolling out some of the more visible changes and features.

Stepping into the next decade, we look forward to keep growing the online community we have built together. And continue to deliver more.

As we come to the end of the year, I wish everyone to have a happy and safe holiday season.

As a new member the site and the whole salty world in general, Canreef has been a great inspiration and resource in many aspects. I personally just want to say “Thank You” to all that have taken the time to build this successful community.

Thanks for setting up this great site. Without it, I wouldn't have met most of the local reefers & I'd have waaaaay fewer crazy fish/reefing friends in my life.

Just like my LFS receipts, I would hate to tally up all the hours spent here over the last several years. Probably could have held a second job in that time:wink:

HahaHoho. I've been around. Just trying to lower my Posts Per Day statistic. Finally below 1.0. Reef has been neglected for the past 2 years. It is bouncing back now though. Reduced my fish bioload so the tank can be lower-maintenance.

Yes, have not been checked in too often these days.

I have relocated to HK for the last several years. But I am happy to say that I have successfully converted my brother to reefing so he is now taking care of my tank in Vancouver!

By the way, I have recently started something that is very interesting (from a reefing perspective). Talked to you off at PM.
