Havent taken any time to look up, but anyone know what this is and if there are any natural preditors.

OK, think I found the name, wrangelia argus.

I actually had a tang that ate it up pretty good, then it decided that it did not suit it's palate anymore....
harvest as much as ya can, it spreads fast.

I noticed you were farming that stuff when I was at your place yesterday. :lol: I would think a nice little kole tang would love it.

I had 2 small blue tangs in a 180, and we noticed that only one of them recognized this as a food source. He cleared it out in a week - but he was sickly looking and seemed starve.

Also there must be some urchin out there that will consmue the stuff providing you don't have any more palatable food sources in the tank.

actualy my urchin did make a dint in it but it was like shoveling the snow off a football field by hand.
