Got this Acro frag in June. Not sure what exactly it is. No growth experienced in first 5 months (due to bad water quality). Now, finally, things are picking up. Not sure what the final color will be but it looks good so far. It now has green polyps with blue coralites and pink tips. I had a bad experience doing a water change with tap water (without chlorine remover) in Nov and things turned brown for a few weeks. But all's back to normal now.

Nice shot's Sam
I think the only way I could get macro's as good as yours is if I spent the $300 on a underwater housing unit  or buy a new camera

Is that the same camera you claim makes lousy macros   If so I would not mind having on like it.

Looks like it really changed for the better sam. Nice shots. Looks like pink millipora to me.

Yeah, I was told it was a millepora. Thought it might have been something else.

Bob, yes, its the Canon S40 but this isn't really a macro shot as my camera was about a foot away. Having 4 megapixel resolution allows me to crop the pic without needing to Size Up the cropped image (ie. no loss of image detail).

I originaly bought that as a plain old Acro frag. It was a sort of Tangerine color when I bought it. After about about a week in my tank, the tips started to turn blue. After a couple of months, it was a nice solid blue. Because of the shaggy looking polyps, I guessed it was a Mille. Oh yeah, in my tank it was under a 400w Saki and some VHO 03's.

I'm sure with you nitrates down, it will continue to change until it is solid blue  .

Hi Steve. I monitor PH several times a day. I test CA/Alk/Nitrate every 2 months or more if I think there's a problem.
