Anyone in Vancouver/burnaby ordering? willing to hold my order for me?
I can make his J&L time but if he's late due to whatever reason I don't have much time to spare, as it is I'd have to bring it home, put them in a bucket with a pump and deal with them when I come home from work.

All PMs have been replied to. My apologies to those of you I was not able to satisfy. The demand for large cheep frags in the lower mainland is unbelievable. Up here there is almost no one to get rid of this stuff too. Many of us either toss our trimmings into the trash or re-run them in calcium reactors. Pretty much everything that was available is now spoken for. I have a lot of bagging to do Tuesday morning before I leave...

Bump. The first post is up to date. Sorry but I can't ship yet. Local pickup only. I also have a green Turbinaria colony for sale that I 'rescued'. About 1/2 of it is dead but the living area is doing well again. Someone can have it for $15 or I'll cut it up into little pieces and sell it off that way.

Hey Russel, I hope when the weather gets better and you are able to ship that you have some frags available. I would like to get some of your Horn Coral, Monti Caps and zoas and maybe some others too.

Bah! if the acan was available when i was going to PG i would have taken it in a second. I may not be going to PG until April or May maybe. :(

Bump for supernice corals. Ive seen his tank and frag tank personally. Very nice indeed.

PS the blue zoas you gave me last time are growing a new polyp every couple of weeks :) The shrooms are also colouring up nicely as well.

Bump. I'm taking a short vacation to visit family next week. So I'm once again offering to bring frags with me for anyone who would like to meet up along the way. I'll be going through Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Clinton etc to Rosedale on May 4. Then on May 5 I'll be making some planned stops in Aldergrove, Burnaby and Delta as I head towards the ferry to take me over to Victoria. I'll be on a pretty tight schedule May 5 so I'm not willing to deviate unless someone knows of a gas station with exceptionally low gas prices... I might go out of my way for one of those.

Send me a PM and we'll set something up.

Call me when you get in town, maybe this time we can get you over here.

Sorry but I've got a 3:00pm ferry to catch so I really don't have time to be making extra stops. However if you're after a variety of pieces I can easily ship by Greyhound once I return. It only costs $20-30. I did it a lot last summer with great success.

Apart from a few minor setbacks everything just keeps growing. I either trim them and offer frags, kill them and make calcium reactor media, or let nature take its course. The first option sounds the most logical to me.

minor set backs are what keeps it interesting right, thats awesome man i totally loved the frags i got off you last year if it wasnt so far id order more in a heartbeat but thats the sad thing about living on the east coast all the good stuff is on the west coast lol its good to see your tank is looking great and that your doing good.

for those who are thinking about getting frags from russell you wont be disappointed i can guarantee you that and if thats not enough to make you do it just look at the positive feedback:)

cheers buddy:)

I just received a shipment of frags from whatcaneyedo here.

I was disappointed after I had paid for frags, I received mini-colonies. Yes, it's a terrible thing that eyedo is doing here, all this false advertising. I should be pulling out the microscope to examine my 1/2" SPS frags and to be able to count polyps on one hand for my zoanthid frags.

It was the best shipment of coral I've ever received. The corals were in fantastic health, many of them were well-encrusted, enormous, and opened up within an hour of being in my tank. The box he sent could have probably fit a few children inside of it. Everything was packed well and I have no complaints.

There were a couple brittle stars in one of the bags, but not your average brittle stars. These things were like the godzilla of lizards...enormous things. What steroids are you feeding them?

You won't be disappointed. The colours were vibrant, the corals were healthy and he was very diligent about answering emails and giving me shipping updates. All in all an excellent experience. I would definitely order from him again, but I fear I have everything that he has in his tank already!

Thanks for the positive sarcasm. At first glance you had me a little worried there.

I just did some major downsizing with a few colonies last weekend and I've still got two full colonies that I'd like to get rid of completely. The big pink/purple Pocillopora chuck, the toadstool and the pink leather are $20 each. The abnormally large frags of Acropora are $5. I've also got smaller frags of all of these plus a modest assortment of other stuff (listed in the first post of this thread) for $5 each.

Out of the handful of PMs I just received not a single person wants to buy those big green WYSIWYG acropora frags so I've dropped the price of them down to $5. But at least the Pocillopora is now spoken for.

I must say, your frags are certainly very generous! Only one recommendation, let the buyer know how big the frags are as it may not fit in their tank!!!

Great communication through out the deal. Although it looks like the poci colony may not make it as water leaked out of the bag, S**T happens :(. I would still deal with Russell again! Great Price and size on the corals!

Sorry Russel I forgot to leave my feed back from the shipment you sent me recently.

AWESOME packaging, communication & frag size / quality AAAAA++++++ rating from me.

If you would have pulled those green acros out before you shipped my order I would have snagged them. If you are by chance shipping to someone in Edmonton maybe we can work something out.

Thank you all again for the positive feedback. Unfortunately right now I'm having issues again with my montipora colonies so I've unlisted them for the time being. I believe that I've been hanging my lights a little too low and so whenever I get a slight change in water temperature they start to decline. This isn't the first time that its happened and they've always recovered but it can take a while.

Any chance your thinking of fragging your Acan any time soon? :boink:

I've already got a few others hounding after me for acan frags. So I can't make any promises. Also, I'm working some insane hours right now so I don't even have time to ship at the moment.

whatcaneyedo
10-03-2011, 01:40 PM
I've had a lot of inquiries for frags lately so I thought I'd give this thread a bump. The first post has been updated with my limited selection. 3/4 of my poor montipora haven't fully recovered from whatever it was that caused them to decline. At the moment I can ship on Saturdays if there is a bus that goes from me to whomever. But I don't get home from work soon enough the rest of the week. Its been a busy two months.

Bump. The first post has been updated. Everything keeps growing faster than I can get rid of it. So my frags just keep getting bigger and bigger... I've also got a few colonies for sale pictured in the first post of this thread that I no longer want.

There is a good chance that I'll be driving through the lower mainland towards Victoria by the end of next week... but I'm not 100%.

Ill take the Platygyra and Pterogorgia if you are driving through Vancouver.

Edit: Dont buy his "frags" unless you have room cause they are closer to small colonies than frags.

Thank you everyone that came out to meet me! My somewhat less crowded tank thanks you too!
