hey i was thinking of transferring my 6line into my other tank which has peppermint shrimp in it. will i have problems with the 6line eating the shrimp? the peppermints are about the same size as the fish

I had two cleaner shrimps and a six line. After about 6 months, I just had the 6 line. There was just a foxface and 2 percs as companions. I think the wrasse waited until the shrimp molt and if they are not hiding its game over.

I have a six line in with peppermints, cleaners and even sexy shrimp in a 90gal. No problems in the 6 months I've had him but he is well fed otherwise.

same here. I think it is hit and miss. not all 6 line wrasse will hunt down the shrimp. If you have a good feeding schedule then you should have no problem i think.

find cleaner or peppermint shrimp only last a couple of months. Now can't positively say it's the 6 line taking them out and when I ask him he doesn't say any anything, just sort of swims away with a smile so makes me suspicious it's him.

its hit and miss with 6lines. I know this 6line i gave to torrid07 and he's not friendly with the smaller shrimps. I had a couple larger cleaners in the tank and they seemed fine with the 6line. But small peppermints were like bulleye targets for this guy
