im setting up a tank soon so i can start getting my rocks cycled again and i have an OLD bag of salt that has clumped up into balls ... is it still useable for cycleing rocks or do i need new salt? its about 8 month old. thank you

The clumping is just from moisture that got into the salt and caused the grains to stick together, as long as it has not been contaminated by any chemicals it is just fine.
